Rostersize simplifies team formation during your tryout or placement process. There are many options to manage your teams during the season, but only Rostersize makes managing your tryout process simple and efficient.
You have dozens or even hundreds of kids to place. Coaches are juggling player evaluation with basic crowd control. Club directors are trying to make sure every player is getting a fair evaluation. As the evaluation period flies by, coaches are left scrambling to ensure every player has been considered and placed. Then comes the notification process. Each player gets contacted. How many have accepted? How many have declined? Has the first team coach finished so the 2nd team coach knows which players are still available? Sound familiar?
Rostersize is designed to make this entire process more efficient. Coaches can easily assign players to their team, and all coaches can see what other coaches are planning. The notification process and results tracking can speed up your process by more than 70%, giving you a competitive advantage against other clubs who may be calling that same player.
The Rostersize system has 3 key roles:
To get started, your club administrator creates your club in the Rostersize system and will setup your first season. For each tryout season, the administrator can create player groups and team names. The administrator also controls adding players and coaches to the system, as well as managing coach assignments.
Coaches are added to your club by invitation from the administrator. Access to your club is secure - no one can join without your administrator's permission.
Coaches are assigned to 1 or more teams in your player groups and can only see the assignments and information for players within their assigned groups. Throughout your tryout or placement process, coaches can assign and remove players from their teams, and also mark players as alternates. When player placement is finalized, coaches use Rostersize to track acceptances and declines as players are contacted with their offers.
The administrator can also create directors in the system. Directors have the ability to see all players and all player groups in your club, and can make player assignments in any group. In addition, directors can track the call status and results of all groups in your club.
