Please read the privacy policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
We need certain personal data in order to deliver Services to you.
By registering with us or submitting personal data through our site, you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. When you register with us, you are required to consent to our Privacy Policy. This consent provides us with a legal basis under applicable law to process your personal data. You maintain the right to withdraw such consent at any time.
For an individual user, the minimum amount of information we collect is your name. In most cases your email address and a password is required as well. If you register as a team administrator, we also collect your club name, names of groups and teams, as well as the names and contact information for the players you add to the system.
Beyond the minimum information required to use the site, we store data that you provide us for the services. Examples include:
Like many online services, we use cookies to collect information. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing the website. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience of our Services.
We use two broad categories of cookies: (1) first party cookies, served directly by us to your computer or mobile device, which are used only by us to recognize your computer or mobile device when it revisits our Services; and (2) third party cookies, which are served by service providers on our site, and can be used by such service providers to recognize your computer or mobile device when it visits other websites.
Our Service uses the following types of cookies for the purposes set out below:
Type of cookie | Purpose |
---|---|
Essential Cookies | These cookies are required for optimal operation of our website, and cannot be configured. They allow us to offer you the key functions of the website, including access control. |
Functionality Cookies | These cookies allow our services to remember choices you make when you use our site, such as the viewing modes that you can select. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a more personal experience and to avoid you having to re-enter your preferences every time you visit our Services. |
Analytics and Performance Cookies | These cookies are used to collect information about traffic to our Services and how users use our Services. The information gathered does not identify any individual visitor. The information is aggregated and anonymous. It includes the number of visitors to our site, the pages they visited on our site, what time of day they visited our site, whether they have visited our site before, and other similar information. We use this information to help operate our site more efficiently, to gather broad demographic information and to monitor the level of activity on our site. |
We track how users use our sites including what pages they visit and what actions they take.
We track what types of devices you use to access our site. We collect device attributes like operating system, screen size, browser, etc.
If you purchase any of our paid services, you will need to pay using a payment card (e.g., credit or debit card). We use third party payment card processing companies to process payments in connection with our site. These third parties have committed to Rostersize to process your payment card information in a secure, PCI compliant manner. Your payment card information is processed and retained by these third parties and will not be passed on to Rostersize; Rostersize does not store your payment card information.
Our primary use of your information is to deliver our site for you to use.
We may also use your information to measure and improve our site. We look at this data in anonymous and aggregate form to determine things like how many users in total are using a given feature.
During the process of developing, troubleshooting and administering the site, it may be necessary to look at pieces of your information to improve the site and user experience, offer you additional information, opportunities and functionality, respond to requests that you make, resolve a problem or dispute, investigate potential security issues, or verify your compliance with our terms of use. Also, when you write us to request support, our customer support representatives may look at your information in order to assist you. We may also access and use your information to comply with applicable law or legal process.
Third parties (such as the club administrators) can upload your information to the site and share pieces of your information with other club coaches through team and club settings. It is up to you as to whether you share this optional information, but you may need to work with your club administrator to limit any information sharing or to remove or update any information submitted on your behalf. We may also share your information with our coaches in your club. The club administrator is defined as the person who is listed in Rostersize as having created the club account and any additional people that are granted administrator access by the administrator.
We use your information to communicate with you for account change confirmations (e.g. password resets). We will not communicate with you for marketing purposes or provide your information to any 3rd party unless specifically noted in this privacy policy.
We monitor the data to ensure that users are complying with our terms of service and to investigate suspicious behavior on our site.
The site offers a number of ways to share content with members of your club within the site itself. No data is shared outside of the site without specific action from the coaches in your club. The club administrator controls which coaches have access to which players by controlling access to player groups and teams. None of the data provided by your club is shared or made available to anyone outside of your club.
Rostersize employs third party payment providers to run its service. Rostersize relies on these third parties to maintain the safety and security of your information.
Regardless of any choices you make regarding your information, we may disclose your information (a) in connection with any legal investigation; (b) to comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas, warrants or other legal process served on us; (c) to protect or defend the rights or property of Rostersize or users of the Site and Services; and/or (d) to investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Service. In these cases, we provide only the data requested to be legally compliant.
If you are a registered user, you may review, update, correct or delete your information by logging into Rostersize and editing your profile.
Any user can delete their account and/or their relationship with a club via their profile pages.
Club administrators also have the ability to delete all information for their club by contacting rostersize@gmail.com. It is the responsibility of club administrators to ensure they have the right to submit any player and coach information that they enter into the site, and to also delete that information at the request of the player or coach.
